Fiberglass Pool Installation in the Upstate, SC

Fireside Pools, LLC handles fiberglass pool installation for families in Easley, Greenville, Anderson and Pickens. We're a family-owned pool builder based in Easley, and as an authorized installer of Imagine Pools by Explore Industries, we bring one of the industry's most trusted fiberglass lines to the Upstate.

This page covers how we install fiberglass pools in each of those four communities. For the full lineup of pool types, start at our pools page. If you're still deciding between materials, our gunite vs. fiberglass vs. vinyl comparison walks through the trade-offs.

Fiberglass Pool Installation, Start to Finish

A fiberglass pool is a factory-molded shell. Imagine Pools says its composite fiberglass pools "arrive ready to be set in the ground," and that each shell is built with vinyl ester resin in every structural layer, a smooth gelcoat finish and hand-laid fiberglass. The manufacturer backs its pools with a Lifetime Structural Warranty, a Lifetime Structural Osmosis Warranty and a ten-year gelcoat warranty.

On our side, fiberglass pools install quickly, feel smooth underfoot and require the least maintenance of any pool type we build. The gel-coat surface resists algae, and the proven shapes come with tanning ledges and benches molded in. If you've heard about blistering, read why our fiberglass pools won't blister.

Fiberglass Pools in Easley, SC

Easley is home. Our office is at 402 Sheriff Mill Rd, so Easley families work with a builder whose base is right in town. The first question is usually which shell fits the yard, so we bring the shape options to your consultation and show the chosen pool in 3D on your own lot. If you'd like to talk in person at our office, call (864) 533-6074 first so we can set a time.

Fiberglass Pool Installation in Greenville, SC

For Greenville homeowners, the paperwork matters as much as the shell. In unincorporated Greenville County, a swimming pool needs a permit, and when a contractor does the work, the contractor submits the application. Residential pools there are inspected for the grounding and pool bond, then the electrical final and the building final. We take care of permits as part of the project. Greenville homeowners can also read about all three pool types on our Greenville pool builder page.

Fiberglass Pools in Anderson, SC

Anderson County has its own set of rules. Anderson County lists a building permit and an electrical permit for a swimming pool, and it has adopted the 2021 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code. Its barrier requirements call for a notarized Pool Fence Affidavit from the owner, and the barrier, gates and any required door alarms must be in place before the final inspection is requested. Because we install pool fences ourselves, the barrier is planned with the pool rather than added at the end. You can see a finished pool in Anderson on our blog.

Fiberglass Pools in Pickens, SC

Pickens families get the same team, process and design tools as everyone else we serve. A fiberglass shell suits homeowners who want a low-maintenance pool without a long build, and the molded tanning ledges and benches give you places to sit and lounge from day one. We'll walk your Pickens property, talk about where the pool, patio and fence should go, and show you the plan before any digging starts.
