Permits in Mauldin

The City of Mauldin requires a building permit before construction starts on any new structure, and a permit before electrical, plumbing or fuel gas work is added or altered. The city also expects the permit to be in hand before the work begins. A pool involves all of that, so the permit paperwork is part of what we handle for you, before the dig.

Homes outside city limits are permitted by Greenville County. The county requires a permit for swimming pools, and when a contractor does the work, the contractor submits the application. Residential pools there are inspected three times: the grounding and pool bond, then the electrical final and the building final.

• Vinyl liner: a custom shape at the most affordable entry point, usually built in 4–8 weeks. Liners typically last 7–12 years.

Fences, Hot Tubs and Outdoor Kitchens

We install pool fences ourselves, so the barrier and its gates are drawn into the same design and scheduled with the rest of the build. As an authorized Garden Leisure dealer, we sell hot tubs and swim spas and handle the delivery, placement and electrical work.
